    any 997 GT2 pix yet??

    The new pics posted of the 997 Turbo still looks tame, and quite different from the original posts we've been seeing in the past few months.
    Does anyone think that one of these maybe the GT2 (black one) and the other (blue one) a regular 997 Turbo?

    That is interisting that you say that, because it crossed my mind also. I would love to see the turbo or the GT2 look like the black mule, look bad a**!! But i doubt that is the case. only time will tell.

    I heard from Auto Motor Sport that their will be no GT2 in 997 guise. The sales sucked (no kidding since it was truly over priced).

    RR4 - i hope that's true and they ditch the GT2 as a range topping model. I've always felt they should have a mid-engined supercar as a range topper. Something in the vain of the CGT, but a permanent model costing between Pounds150K- Pounds200k. Now that would be amazing.....

    No, No, No... All 911's should ALWAYS be rear-engined. Its the cars trademark and gives the cars a very special feel...

    I was suggesting another model range, as opposed to building a mid-engined 911. If the turbo has over 500bhp (as rumoured) this will be more than enough power for most 911 drivers. This would permit a permanent mid-engined supercar with 550 - 600 BHP to exist alongside the 911, for those who want something truely insane.

    OOOOOooops. My bad...I've thought about that and i've always wondered why Porsche doesn't make something to fill the gap between the top 911's and the Carrera GT. It should be mid-engined because that layout should just be for 911's, so yes i agree with you.
