Thanks Gnil. I don't want to take away anything from the beauty of the leather dash, but I was worried that the "vinyl" dash would look cheap. I was very happy that it looks ALOT nicer than I expected. Doesn't look cheap at all; perhaps it looks less sumptuous than the leather but it's dfinitely Porsche quality at it's best. People have been in the car and I ask them all about the dash, they all "love" it. I then ask if they think it looks cheap, they typically don't even understand why I would ask that question.
So, if leather is drop-dead gorgeous, vinyl is very very attractive.

LOL. Nah, just jumped into the car, parked it and waited. Nice and still and quiet. Was like being in your favorite art museum all alone. Soooo cool to see such absolute formal beauty and know the time-evolved engineering and extreme precision that reside just underneath.

I'm sorry but the color balance is way off, I don't know why. MY interior is black, the photo just looks blue.

WOW ! Thanx for the pics....my favorite color combo:Arctic/Black. Shows off the lines of the Carrera the BEST IMHO. I like the non leather interior: much less maintenance, excellent leatherette. There is enough standard leather on seats, shifter, steering wheel, and door handle inside grip/armrest to complement the interior and give leather smell. Also like the non Spolrt Chrono look....much less clutter and reminds me of the dash look of older 911's.
