    Swap convertible tops?!?! PICS!

    Hey guys.

    My father recently purchased a used 2005 boxster S. It is a guards red/stone grey with a stone grey top. He wants to change the top to black, but it seems that the top with labor will cost about $3000.

    I was wondering if there was anyone on here that wanted a grey top instead of their black one. The top is in flawless condition.

    Also, if anyone else has advice on what to do, it would be appreciated. $3000 is a bit steep for the swap. Thanks!

    Are there any soft-top rennovation companies out there that will tint the roof to black? (Use boot polish perhaps? )

    Seems like a big headache to swap the entire roof on TWO cars.

    I think the stone grey looks amazing on red!

    Thats a good looking car, I'd be tempted to leave as is.

    I'd leave it alone too. The car is quite pretty as is.

    Yea...The car doens't look bad at all with the grey top. However, since my father's preference currently is a black top, I thought i would inquire about the possible options for changing it. It is still possible that he will leave it as is.

    With Grey int., I'd definitely leave it as is. Looks great!
