    BTW, you can see the actual shape of the wing too. Kind of 996TT rear wing type but the end tips are curved down somewhat.

    Wow, those are the first pics that without the rear quater panel and wing camo! Good find Ron!

    We can see the rear wing without camo finally (if its that one in the end), and how the exhausts are incorporated into the bumper though that rear bumper has camo on the bottom half, and the side intakes look very similar to the 996TT's under the tape.
    And we can see were the fog light is going in the front bumper, its the round light placed lateral to the intake, not sure I like that at all! The turn signal/position lights go horizonatally in the middle of the intake.

    Whats scary is the ride height of that Turbo, looks like it made for the Dakar rally

    I have enhanced the photos so we can see better the details since the originals are a bit dark:

    Thanks. Been waiting a long time for these kinds of shots. I have to be honest and say I'm underwhelmed by the appearance, so its all going to be down to the performance, which I'm sure will not disappoint.

    Fantastic, these pics made my day Pretty much what RC described. I reckon that is the final wing, looks like a cross between a whale tail and the the 996tt, or am I just seeing things?

    Carlos, as for the ride height, lets just hope it's just for the US version

    Headlights look smaller too, not sure if it's just the camo though

    There won't be light differences or slants, not th Porsche way. It will be a 997 for sure. And they need to switch out that amber light for clears!

    Well, it seems, the turbo is going to be a 997 (for sure a 997, lol) with cayman s front bumper, 996 side air slats and techart wing.

    Not bad, but i was hoping another thing.

    If the headlights do turn out to be so VW Beetle-like, I'll have to go to VW dealer to buy one of those flower vases to put in the cupholders of the 997TT to fully complete the look .....997TT will need to crush 430 (and 996TTS w/X73)on N-ring to justify that VW-imitation front-end....

    I agree that Design was never a strong trait at Porsche but their performance always makes up for it.

    Great find. - Thanks for the pictures.
    I agree. Not impressed. Somewhat disappointed actually.
    Hopefully it looks better once stripped of the rest of the camo.
    I love the rear wing but hate the wheels. The wheels remind me of the only Cayenne wheels I don't like:

    Don't like the cayman slats in the rear fender either. And the front spoiler with the fog lights look strange so far too.
    Guess the jury is still out.

    Are you guys still harping about the round headlights? I can tell you that the Beetle and the 997 look nothing alike in person. There is abosolutely no problems telling them apart. Way over blown.

    With this front end , the 997 Turbo looks closer to the 996 series than the 997C2S with it's retro corner bumper signal lights. Note the US-spec amber side markers with the US " SUV " ride height and the Cayenne - design " SUV " wheels.With all these strakes on the side scoops and wheels , somebody at Porsche design studios had a poster of a Testarossa on his bedroom wall as a teenager twenty years ago !
