Its a bit strange and confusing. As per the VIN, my car is no. 186!! However, the number on the middle console says 0005!! Considering my car's production date is April '05 I find both numbers to be on the low side.
When productions started back in Sept '03 customers were given the option to choose their own numbers (from 0002-1500) engraved on the console. However, this caused PAG some headache and a mess and they put a stop to it. Therefore, the number on the console does not really reflects the actual serial production number.
