CarbonCycles, there's no way to discern that because of the camouflage, which hasn't changed since 997tt prototypes began being spotted and happens to be exactly the same camo as on the 996tt spy photos!
The editor of this forum, RC, has seen the 997tt in the flesh, without camo, if I'm not mistaken and mentioned that we can expect a 997 with 996tt styling cues.

Wow, I stand corrected, but I really don't understand these tests with the camo (i.e., aerodynamic stability) on them if they plan to continue using the current fin. Either way it makes no difference, I just want them to release the dang thing already..preferably lighter and with more hp.
