    New 430 CS to be called.....

    430 Challenge Pista- literal translation of pista= track . UK orders be taken for 2006....

    That's interesting. Thanks for the info.
    I would have thought that a name like Challenge Pista would be given to a track only version. The word 'stradale' basically means road, so I'm surprised it won't be called Challenge Stradale.

    Could it be possible then, that with Challenge Pista they mean the new Challenge car? AFAIK this car will be at the Frankfurt Motorshow, would make sense then...

    If the new Chellenge car will be at Frankfurt in September, and orders for the new Challenge Pista are being taken for 2006, I would think that the Challenge Pista is the new Chellenge car.
    It's just a guess, but this makes a little more sense to me.

    Yeah, that makes sense; CP = racecar, CS = sportscar for street...

    Stradale just sounds so much better, Pista just doesn't have that catchy sound

    LOL the F430 looks more alike with the F360 than 997 vs 996. Only from the rear you can realy see the difference

    I agree - I just wish the 997 got 90hp and a bunch more torque than the 996 too...

    And with the Ferrari the doors, bonnet and roof are the same. 360 to 430.
    The Porsche only the roof is the same. 996 to 997.
    I terms of wich make has a newer model I think it's about equal.
    Both new models (997 & 430) share the same Silhouette with their previous model. (996 & 360)

    And I guess since the 997 cabriolet has a new roof. The 997 is all new.
    The 430 spider shares the same convertible roof as the 360 spider.
    I love um both. Love them all. 996,997,360,430. It's all good.
