Service Book & Radio Manual

Hi all, when I collected my car 4 weeks ago I was told that Porsche would send me the service/warranty manual that was specific to my car after the dealer registered my details with Porsche, searching through this site I can fnd nobody else mention this, is it true as I have still not received anything. Also the manual for the radio CD 24 was missing & after calling OPC Dublin they say there is a 3 month waiting list for this manual?? sounds strange to me. I can download the CD23 from renlist but want my own.

My radio manual was missing when I collected on March 1st......received it last week!!!

Hi Pols,

Sorry to hear about the backorder. I received an owner's manual, the CDC 24 manual and a CDC 24 quick reference guide, a warranty/maintenance manual and a manual containing a list of all the Porsche dealers in the US. Just so you can compare to the things you''l receive.

I got the owners manual - Quick reference & list of all Porsche dealers. Its really the Service/Warranty book I am most concerned about.

Initially I got everything but the PCM/NAV manual, which the OPC sent me later.

Everything came with my car, PCM guide, service manual, handbook etc etc. A month before I took delivery I was sent a quick users guide.

Finally got all my manuals, below the PDI stamp on page 4 there is a "Speedometer Change" with date & mileage & box for dealer stamp, anybody know what the speedo change is??

By the way if anybody is interested my PDI & Delivery was carried out in Nicosia. So from Cyprus to Ireland, need to ask my dealer about this, but it makes no difference to OPC here as they have had the car in & ordered a new Speedo binacle under warranty.

This is to ensure continuity of the car's mileage history if the speedo should need to be changed due to a technical defect. True mileage would be current odometer reading plus reading from original speedo shown in the manual.
