And the Volvo?. Where is that pic..
That's why I prefer the Volvo. The Ferrari is just unnaturally way too much and the Porsche is colorless & utmost boring. The Volvo just gives the comfortable pleasure being on the safe side, wherever you take it
This is no Volvo, this is a Lamborghini.

This is a Volvo...
Soon, we are going to be accused of sexism...especially by Clinton supporters.

noone1:Gnil:I am a bit disappointed by your 650S impressions . I like that car . But I have also come to realize , that I will not be happy unless I get the more ' racy' cars in any segment ( RS, LT, Speciale )
For a DD , I would get the Turbo S
Remember, 650S is really from 2011. A 650S is a better assembled 12C with less gremlins and a little extra torque for a drag race. Half the people who drive a 12C will drive a 650S and not notice any difference.
Remember, its not the date it came out, its the power-to-weight and chassis and tires

What exactly do you think determines the chassis and tire combination/performance? I'll give you a clue: It starts with a T and ends with echnology. Even tire compounds change with time. Compare the latest Pzeros and Corsas to ones from 5 years ago. RC has been raving about how much better the compound is.
Technology is a function of time. Same thing goes for the engine, transmission, shocks, ECUs, steering, etc. The 458 with a turbo would not have been as good or quick as a 488. Everything gets more and more refined with time.
Power to weight is meaningless compared to electronics technology. Sensor resolution, sampling speed, response times, engine management, drivetrain efficiency, and a million other things all play a much bigger role than power/weight/tires. Turning ESC off does not mean the car suddenly becomes 100% driver controlled. ECU is still working hard in many aspects.
Which is better, Magneride in the 2008 Audi R8, the 2012 F12, or the 2015 488?

Targa Tim:nice thread!
911 turbo s is the perfect daily driver, nobody cares about its look is actually a big advantage.
I said it many times before: If I had a supercar daily driver, it would be the 991.2 Turbo S. This car is just perfect as a daily driver. Met an owner (991.2 Turbo S Cab) from CZ yesterday while at my bank and he already had 30k km in his car, he drove it allover Europe without a single issue. Best daily driver he ever owned he said. He also likes the sound because it doesn't get annoying on longer trips.

RC:. He also likes the sound because it doesn't get annoying on longer trips.
This is true - for example, the 488 is already a bit noisy (engine sound) if driven at 200kph on the Autobahn. In the turbo s you can just cruise and enjoy how calm the car is

You always enjoy loud engine noise when traveling longer distances on the Autobahn I prefer good music from an excellent sound system in these situations
MKSGR:What are you doing with this beautiful, fact based thread It is full of off-topic pictures now
