It's not just this race. This "sport" is becoming a complete joke. Pirelli should be terminated.

Meanwhile, F1 restricting number of tyres for peace love woke reasons!!! F1 signs: net zero 2030!! Racing was born with hydrocarbons, the cars a largely thus as are tyres, fuels, oils... Too late to keep F1 a celebration of unlimited speed and performance, now you MUST take three stops.... pretty soon the audience, at least me, will be gone.

Unfortunate the 2 Mercedes had the run in in the 1st corner, but boy what a gentleman Hamilton is, he owned it up right away, none of the other drivers on the grid would have done the same and would have blame the others. He is the class act for driver behavior.

By the same token, he also doesn’t give a fuck about what the FIA might do, casually stroll across the hot track to go back to the pits, the same don’t give a fuck attitude like Alonso.

For all the talks about battle between Hamilton and Russell at Mercedes, that’s peanuts compared to what is happening at McLaren. Piastri is the real deal and they both young and hungry, completely different than the old guard young gun situation at Mercedes.

Red Bull is stuck right now, if they canned Perez, they will have to promote Lawson but that means someone that can threaten Verstappen, which absolutely cannot happen by the order of Jos. Maybe swap Perez with Ricciardo but that might mean Lawson walks.

If that’s what you want to think or believe with your coloured glasses on. it’s well known you hate Hamilton. Can’t help you there.

On live tv I watched the race and immediately I knew he is at fault. He also quickly acknowledged on interview even before the race ended, literally right after he walked back to the pits.

Russell also said in his radio during the race he never saw Hamilton on the outside. He has no idea, or else he might have backed off or move to the right more to make room for him. That’s didn’t happen, but also a moot point cause Hamilton crossed over driving like he is Verstappen. Guess he learned a thing or two from Max over the years.

Would I want to see Russell in a great car? Most definitely! He in a Red Bull? Oh boy Max gonna be thoroughly embarrassed. Boy he is gonna throw the mother of all tantrum in the garage every race. He is too immature to handle an equal in the team.

This race is actually exciting. With the mandatory tire life limit. Guys are kept shuffling back into the pack and battle again. Fun race to watch. Actions everywhere. Perhaps that should be a thing for next year.

Seems eerily quiet from Max fans about the Hamilton incident last weekend.......

Like, those that called for Hamilton's head when they clashed at Silverstone THAT time?

No noise about calling for Russell's head when he sent Hamilton flying off?

It is literally the same move. If one thinks Hamilton is the guilty party this last race, the same should be applied to Verstappen last time around.

I do think Hamilton is guilty here, but I am more on the fence for either a racing incident at Silverstone or Verstappen at fault for turning into Hamilton. Back in 2021 the stewards were consistent on calling fault on the inside car, so the penalty on Hamilton then is fair even when it was Verstappen that tried to chop him off.

Regardless, outside of the immediate reactions from both drivers at the time, it's interesting to hear the in car radio from Russell during the safety car period that he thought he was the one at fault, and then Hamilton quickly take responsibility like the gentleman he is and then the clip of them talking and smiling after the race from the Mercedes IG story. AND we never see a clip of Toto destroying another headset or the table. Fun time.

Hamilton had so much space to his left. He actually could have stilled carried his greater speed, even he was bit more over on the outside.

He ultimately missed out on leading the race in the first lap , imo.
