HaHa, perhaps I do like the interior in brown/tan in a dark blue car I built on the config, but prefer the RS6 by far, which has far more: "character and presence well beyond the new EV cookie cutter approach to everything.".
it's also $50k usd more for similar performance, less Lab room, and as above much less attractive package. it's not terrible, but the sides are chubby and the rear end with the signature look is fat and awful -- to me.

I am surprised BMW doesn't offer the M3 Touring in the US. There is a huge hype about the M3 Touring in Europe, people love it and I understand why. It isn't as big as the RS6 but it is actually a pretty good daily driver, with room for everything you throw at it, including animals, bicycles and luggage. Very good daily commuter and family car and fast as hell.
I heard that BMW doesn't offer the M3 Touring in the US because the homologation/certification process would be too expensive but I think they are underestimating the demand for such a car in the US.
Or...maybe they don't want to hurt the sales of the upcoming 5 series station wagon. 
M5 hybrid with over 735 hp should be a beast...

there was a long period-- I'm guessing 2000-2015, when there was no RS6 is USA and we all lusted after it. 'I thought of getting one when I was in New Zealand, but without the Labs it was more fun to pound the 991.1 and 991.2 GT3s into the ground instead. Now, it'll be fun to try, it's only weakness [except more hp and T!], is limited winter ground clearance: more than a foot of light snow means letting the blades clear to the BC Nordic jump offs first, or using the Expedition or the AEV.
Ten cords stacked and ready for winter! it's crisping enough already we're lighting the stoves in the morning with the sliders and windows still open - 40F at night. Everyone's happy that winter's just around the proverbial corner. Who needs summer, when there's winter?
Beautiful house, Watt...and so much wood. 
I prefer summer but I really understand why you want winter to come with that house and the region you're living in.
Can't wait to see the winter pics from you... They have already become some sort of a Rennteam tradition. 
Regarding the RS6: Fantastic car, no doubt. Was thinking about getting one as a daily driver before I ordered the M3 CS but it is quite big and I'm not a fan of station wagons, can't help it.

it is Mike. the 24 is going to be Ascari blue, with tan interior, same tan BMW used in my M8 CC. Ascari seems a less vibrant blue. I've got so many Valentines I can't keep track
