Gnil:+ 1 on the kids.
I have done Paul Ricard with my oldest and will be doing Monza with him in a couple of weeks. My second one just past his driving licence and we plan to do the Ring by next spring. Great to be able the share common activities with the kids
Nice, Eric

Another track night at Sydney Motorsport Park in the Exige. Fun and I keep finding a few tenths which is satisfying. Next step will be a switch to A050s or A052s and some tweaks to camber.
Pre-production example of the all electric Eletre was on site. It is big! 180mm longer than the Cayenne.
Type 134 is the Macan sized EV. Should be revealed in 2024.

It's a great sports car. It's a perfect size for flowing back roads. The suspension set up - I went with the Touring option - is pure wizardry for our badly surfaced and oddly cambered roads. It literally glides over major imperfections that have the steering wheel in some of my other cars writhing in my hands from kickback through the front suspension. It inspires great confidence to push on and the steering feel is sublime. The gear shift and clutch are nicely weighted to make you feel really involved in the drive. The interior is spacious and the quality of material finishes good with Bridge of Wier leather or alcantara covering nearly every surface. Visibility is great for this type of car and it is easy to place on the road.
One big surprise is the great sound that Lotus have achieved with the Toyota engine.
It is plenty fast enough for real world road use and subjectively "feels" fast until I jump into my 296 which is just on a different level entirely - but then it should be at well over 3 times the cost of the Emira.
Nice colour ISUK. Congrats.
Emira design is excellent. A stunning looking car. Had a drive in one and it is remarkable how compact it feels. Several steps up in terms of refinement, ride and materials compared with the more track focused Exige.
Emira delivery to the US has been held up due to a regulatory issue. Not sure what it is. Rest of the world delivery brought forward as a result. No first drive videos of the AMG/DCT variant to date. That is surprising. Have not heard of any production issues.

Looking good Isuk, I consider that a big endorsements coming from you. Given the price point and that the coming Cayman will be electric, this car could take over some sales from anyone looking in that bracket. IMO in some markets the fact that it has a Toyota engine is only a plus.
