The Size of a dealers Allocation very important to me. I've been to all of the below. Some a few times recently. Most in NY, also NJ and PA. I'd call Legend first - ask for Michael Seigal.
Ranked in size of allocation. ~IMO
Pepe- Very small volume dealer. No allocation. Have heard bad things about sales.
Silver Star - Closest to my home. Small allocation. Good service department.
Jack Daniels - Decent guys, small allocation.
Prestige Porsche - A little larger volume then the above 3.
Porsche Huntigton - Larger allocation then above.
South Shore Porsche - Know them. Larger allocation than above 5. Ask for "Joe"
New Country Porsche (Greenwich) Know them well. Ask for "Curtis". Larger allocation then above 6
Legend - My dealer. Not the fanciest but the most aggressive pricing in Tri-state and very good allocation. Maybe tied w/ Greenwich. Ask for "Michael" - The owner.
Manhatten - Probably best allocation. "John" -Very, very good guy to deal with.
Brandywine (PA)- Visted a month ago. Probably move as much if not more than Manhatten. Great Dealer.

Wow Stradale! Nice summary of area dealers. I live close to Porsche of Huntington so have them as my default location to order my car this fall. If you don't mind, what is your impression of their sales people and service department? I visited Manhattan (Steven) and Legend (Ed) amongst others and also ranked them highly. I'll check out Brandywine next month based on your highlight.

I've used a few different service dept's in the area but never used Huntigton. Legend got me the PSE, don't know how they did it but they did. "Ed" is a good guy. Ed Jaffe. Usually I try not to deal w/ Salespeople. Either try and get a relationship going w/ the Sales Manager or the owner. Sometimes this is not possible but it makes everything a whole lot quicker, easier and usually more accurate. Ed is good to deal with because he's been there so long. I spent some time at Prestige yesterday talking with the Sales Manager - Andrew. Great guy to deal with. I'd give him a call too.
