    the 55 can not compare with the 65, i can really feel the difference between my 55 vs the 65! the traction control on the 65 doesn't turn off until almost 100kmh with my 55 it stops at around 30-40kmh

    Still I feel too young (36yrs) for a SL. Guess image does matter.

    Still I feel too young (36yrs) for a SL. Guess image does matter.

    Head over and register at www.mbworld.org, there are a lot of SL65 owners there, (at least 5).

    There is absolutely no comparison between the CGT and SL65, they are two totally different cars. How would someone sound when they compare a pair of shoes to a bow tie? The only thing they have in common is HP output.

    The CGT trumps the SL65, no sorry, walks the SL65 in every dynamic attribute. Price/comfort and straight line performance is better on the SL65 however. From 0-60mph, the CGT will win with good driver. 0-100mph CGT will also win, however, 0-186mph (I know, stupid) the SL65 is around 3 seconds quicker and top speed of the SL65 is 210mph vs 208mph for the CGT. Totally irrelevant trumps for the SL65, which will probably never be tested by regular buyers, however, you know what they say, even if you don't, its nice to know that you can....

    Wow Mike! You're doing well... all those cars at that age!!! or should I say lack of age!!

    How old are you (if you don't mind me asking?). I'm 25, so another 40yrs until I buy a Mercedes!!
