How about a CLEAN black S??

I drove my S to work today for the first time in 9 days, it's been raining non-stop. There's nothing fun about driving a performance car on slick sloppy roads that you can't do anything on but just point and poke. That's why I own a truck. Anyhow, she's wearing a fresh detail and wax that I did before parking her pre-foul-weather!!

Anyhow, computer [censored] that I am, I can manage to upload the pictures to the gallery, but I can't seem to figure out how to get them to display here. Hence the links. Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated to get these photos to show up on this thread, and to tutor me accordingly. Thanks!!

I really like the interior and the air vents are a very nice touch!

    All the best,

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

Freakin' AWESOME. I absolutely love the clean, sleek, flat black look. But after a black E36 M3, E39 M5, and Cayenne TT, I am taking a long awaited break in the detailing dept with GT silver...Still, nothing quite like the elegance of black...

I don't know how to post images from your gallery back onto a thread. So, the easiest thing to do is post a reply, then use the "You may attach a file if you like..." and select your image from your local hard drive via the browse button before you click on the "Ok, submit" button. That's the only way I know how. Do that for each image.

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

what did you clean it with? did you use zymol to polish it?

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

Very nice combination...the terracota leather fits perfectly with black!

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

very very nice job beautifull car!!! Congrads 69" !!

    And is zymol good?

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

whats with the iar vents? Are they silver as standard in the S or not?

    Here they are :

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

    etc...
before to confirm your post, join the pic file you want

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

But it doesn't work with the "quick reply"
    Use the "reply"

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

present your pics, then klick "continue"
Then attach your pic file, finding them in the jungle of your directories with the button "browse", and klicking on their name...
    then klick on "OK, submit"

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

And, as a reward for my great job here, a last pic...of a dusty one this time, if you please, boss

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

Looking oh so fine The two toning with the terracotta looks so distinctive. I think you can do so much with the Porsche colours that they provide to give you that distinctive look , I'm not so sure I understand why people want to modify using aftermarket stuff that makes the car look to bling bling The gloss black is absolutely beut, I'm waiting to talk to my dealer as i should get the onvesl notation any day now. I've bought myself a bottle of rejex for my first application, hopefully I can get it to look as good as yours

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

Sweet car, but an even sweeter collection of cars.
The terracotta probably works best in Fla. for some reason...

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

69bossnine, beautiful car, gotta love black especially when its clean.

Do mind sharing a picture of your Shelby GT when you have chance? If I only had one of those I would have the perfect combination of yesterday and today!

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

O.K., let me test your methods, and I'll dish you up a couple Shelby pics, and a couple other interesting models while I'm at it...

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

Eureka!!! This is easy!!!! I'm a total moron!!!!

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

    Here's my dad's 5,700 original mile '79 928 5-speed

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

    Here's my '67 GTO 400 H.O. 4-speed..

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

    And here's the whole room.

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

75% of it is ultra-low-mile or just plain "new" (under 500 mile) unrestored originals. The remaining 25% are high-grade national show winning restorations. But what we really stockpile are the mega-low-mile virgin pieces. Some of them are highly desirable models, some of them are funky 60's 70's and 80's cruisers and luxury cars and trucks that you just never see anymore, because they've been forgotten and passed by. Such as, when's the last time you saw a 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado?? 1966 Motor Trend Car of the Year, and GM's first mass-produced front-wheel-drive. I've got one with 1,208 miles on it. Or a 1970 Ford F100 Explorer Sport Custom with 15 original miles, never sold when new. Lots of funky and unique stuff like that. We call it "ECLECTIC".

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

Holy Cr*p! What an amazing collection. You should open it up as a museum.

Re: How about a CLEAN black S??

HOLY SMOKES!!!! What a car collection!!! The last picture just blew me away. You should open a musuem and let me run it, I'd be in heaven. WOW!
