Ferdie:
Whoopsy:
As usual, despite already being a WDC, Max still have no class, or manners for that matters.
We all know you have a strong affection for him and aversion for Tesla. Is there anything else to add?
That finger has been given from several drivers, even world champions, before. Alonso, Hamilton, Raikkonen... so what's the point? Stop being a hypocrite in that regard. Or watch some videos how Nelson Piquet has behaved on and off the track back in his era, that would be something to talk about.
And I recalled I had been very consistent in my criticizing for drivers behaviours, no one escape that.
Tsunoda and Verstappen had been the 2 most prolific foul mouths in car. Maybe others swear here and there but the F1 team did not broadcast those, doesn't mean I am letting them off the hook. Plus, Verstappen is the current WDC, of course all focus will be on him. Up until last week, I don't recall hearing Hamilton swears on the radio either, but it would seems that was broadcasted but unfortunately I wasn't watching the race and I was at the Brickyard unable to catch that. When Vettel was misbehaving before, I was on him too. I had also commented on Leclerc's infrequent outbursts. Same with Stroll and others. Alonso and Raikkonen too.
The 3 drivers that gets the least attention all happens to be British, Norris, Russell and Hamilton. Can also throw Ricciardo in there as he doesn't let his instantaneous emotions takes over.
I was brought up under the British in HK, learned British manners, and I am not even in the public's eyes. These drivers are. They should be held to a higher standard than even my own. They are the role models for kids looking up. Whataboutism doesn't work, it isn't ok to do it just because others are doing it. Is it ok to slap a girl just because others are doing it? No.
Instead of rebutting me and justifying about his finger gesture, what you should be doing is to raise the issue with your idol Max, fan meal, Twitter, FB messenger or whatever, telling him this isn't ok.
What's accepted as 'normal' before isn't in modern society. Look at grid girls, that's one thing I want back. Drivers dangling a cigarette next to their cars? Nope. Tobacco sponsorship liveries? Gone. Being rude to others are never acceptable and cannot be justified.
