@watt
you’re living your life to the fullest! First you cope with your physical issues like no other (known to me) would do and on top of this your using your impressive stable of cars like they’re Dacia Dusters

Gnil:So nice to see the mountains, the river, the old bark, the grass and flowers, and the whole crew again, showing that you are back into your land
Will start walking to the ridge
Haha Eric,
We're just over that peak. First few 3.5 hour jaunts the toes would bleed, but 4 hours on track yesterday and all healed
Sabre leads the way
Gnil:Watt, glad to hear recovery is on a very good path. Thanks to the crew, with Sabre leading, for pulling you way up
I m still on my way. Getting closer . Walked yesterday 6h , 20 km
See You soon Eric!
Got a big lecture from the Wound Dr. yesterday about keeping the rest of my feet - new replacements for my custom orthotics, etc. He says saving my feet and 4-8 hours on the track are competing goals -- but hiking is Life so we will manage the risk until we can't
Seneca still rides with us, on the visor, everywhere!!!
Gnil:Watt, I went up to 10300 feet hoping to see over to your side.
Toward the North too many more mounts to pass.
Towards the south only one last glacier and then It should be a smooth walk down
Gorgeous Eric! Reminds me when we hiked near the Italian border into Italy but more majestic. Still some time before we get up to see you - every time I over do it [a feature of my personality always using willpower to push too far], I set myself back, but smaller issues each time! We still haven't passed our old friend at 9500'.
Comments on Pista vs GT2RS:
I like the Pista's looks better, although it tends to looks like a space ship
That is Brewster Green.
Brewster Green is different than British Racing Green in Porsche's palette. Paint code 22D vs 21D.
Brewster is more 'inky', darker and deeper. BRG is lighter, brighter.

Between those two I would choose the Porsche anytime.
I can understand why the Italian car styling, which tends to be predominantly ostentatious has its fans around the world but by comparison the GT2 RS looks like a real weapon and a real man's car . On top this the Porsche in the picture has a very nice exterior colour and wheel choice.

Haha,
Reginos PORSCHE needs customers like you, drunk on the brand I myself am a recovered PORSCHE drunk, having owned 67, before the 992 and the GT RICER wings got me sober.
But post pix of your GT2RS, with the glorious wing! I'm not faulting the rest of the car, that's why I bought it. Except the stupid centre locks.
So embarrassing, and ostentatious [to quote you:)] around town:
And the new RS's, .... let's not discuss
Much as Madame loves her 2012 C2S Cab, My next GT2 was the pinnacle of the brand, and all the wing good looks can handle, it's been down hill from here stylistically, and all new features and performance superfluous, at least on the street.
Somewhere back in this thread, I was asked to rate my favourites, 72S, 996 GT2, 997 GT3RS and GT2.
Besides the wings, PORSCHE hates its long time customers -- that's clearly demonstrated by centre locks which only bewitch the new fools, and are ostentatiously omitted from Ferraris.
Bought this new coming up to 14 years ago, other cars have come and gone but not this one, on 74000 miles now
997 GT2 2014 3.9 Mezger, 800PS @ 1.2 bar
993 Turbo, 2006 built 3.8, 577PS/797NM, 1440kg DIN sold to a worthy enthusiast.

Your white 997 GT2 is another top Porsche You should have kept it.
Perhaps, Porsche should have released a 991 GT2, toned down from the RS visually and performance wise and more suitable for the street. Nevertheless, I believe the GT2 RS is the pinnacle of the 911 story. I'd like one in GT Silver, please
