    well mike, i have two prospects (guests) including one that won't cost porsche a dime since he's in birmingham. hopefully they'll release the next available date soon.

    Unfortunately not this year but maybe next (it's not my motor, just a lowly 987 driver!). Great day seeing them off on Sat though...

    yeah, but in birmingham you actually drive the CGT which is something that doesn't happen in leipzig

    They do that in Birmingham too - just depends on what you go there for.

    OK, a question for W8MM that is completely off topic, but what did you think of the Birmingham area? I may have a decent job prospect down there and was wondering your thoughts on the area?

    Numbers wise, it's very comparable to the NJ/Metro Philadelphia area where I am now with the exception of home prices. For the price of my 2 bedroom townhouse, I can get a single family 4 bedroom home on 1 acre that is at least twice the size. Appreciate your thoughts.

    I didn't get to explore Birmingham even a little bit.

    All I saw was the airport, the freeway, the hotel, and the Barber complex.
