Either the sensor is at failure, or the engine is consuming excessive amounts of oil. If you followed break-in procedure, this is their problem...

Actually, it is their problem whether you followed break-in or not.  Break-in is described as a "Hint" for best performance in the manual.  Not a requirement for warranty coverage...

Since it is impossible to over-rev the engine with PDK, there is not much the driver could do to lose his warranty (besides actual sanctioned racing, using unauthorized maintenance fluids or procedures, or modifying the car).
