I have bought five cars from Newport Auto Center. Their way of doing business is to use the bulk of their allocation for customer ordered cars. They order very few cars to put on the floor. So, even though they are one of the top five dealers in the USA they often don't have any new cars on the floor. On the other hand you can drive out to Riverside and they typically have cars available to drive home, but they are loaded up with options. The salesman at Newport I deal with is Elden Lauterbach. He has been there for many years and really knows the product. He is low pressure and once you order a car he will keep you informed of the progress. He will fax you updates on your car as it moves through the system. I don't know if they will deal on an S model, but they might on a non-S. I am going to pay window sticker for my S cab, but I wanted to be the first person to get one. You may pay a little penalty for that. When things cool down they might deal.
