I'm waiting impatiently for the end of next week to pick up the R8 from the dealer then.
I also ordered to remove the stripes. Dealer seems to paste every new car with black stripes... yes
This reminds me of the 70s, when every midsize car which wanted a "sporty" image, was covered with black stripes.
I for myself had at that time an "Opel Kadett Rally" (GM subsidiary) with black painted hood and black lateral stripesindecision
