BMW used a rather sophisticated brake disc system on the M3 at front but this doesn't seem to help anything...

Fritz,

I somehow have to agree on the design - though I personally know about the achievement of several designers <i just don't get it when it's BMW's turn. There is no true consistency in appereance or direction on the 7-series' shape, same on the 5-series which seems to have a rather rapidly outgoing styling theme and I am quite curious to see the 1-series on the street. I just saw one yesterday driving by the BMW dealer. It's pet-like front lights might make it look quite sympathetic...

What comes on top of that is not even quality and especially interior feel comes close to what it was five years ago. Same goes to this distinctive "driver feeling" that so many BMWs offered in the past. Do they really believe a rock-solid suspension and a propeller badge is all customers are looking for?

Sorry, I just became a bit enthusiastic on that one.
