Hey guys,

As I was browsing on the net and reading other forums, I noticed that someone has posted a thread regarding the normal brakes on the 997S. In the thread it states that the normal brakes are actually clunking and they are infact not the same as the turbo brakes. Apparently the calipers are redesigned and the pads are shifting. It also states that before there were 2 pins now there is only 1 pin. Apparently this problem has been confirmed by a porsche tech to him. The problem occurs when you apply the brake, or when you reverse and brake and then go forward and brake.
This is quite interesting since I have never heard of such a thing up until now, and I know there are some people on this forum who have received there cars and have not mentioned such a problem. I am awaiting delivery of my car which is a March production and was curious if anyone else has experienced this problem.

Thanks guys,
ciao
