Cows are not killed for their leather, it is a by-product. They are domestic animals raised for their meat or dairy, once the cow dies or is killed for the meat, the hide is taken as well instead of having it go to waste. Not using leather in Tesla is just marketing BS, it is not saving any cows Smiley
