The TPMS came back to working order later that same day as I was leaving our dinner restaurant's underground garage.

The next day, it continued to work in "race track" mode even though I had to sun-soak the front tires in order to increase them from 25 psi to work around the 26 psi minimum demanded by that setting.  I wanted 25 psi (cold) for the fronts to keep them from exceeding the 31-32 range as the track session wore on.

Everything was going well until I re-inflated the tires to head home yesterday.  After that, even after stopping for lunch and later for fuel, the TPMS stayed in its AFU mode all the way home.

I'll have to get the car out tonight or tomorrow to see how much cycling of the systems it takes to self-correct again.

"Totally Porsche's Most Stupid", indeed.
