Diesel cars in the US is done for a long time. A diesel Porsche was sort of an aberration before, now it is just seen as plain silly.

With the current gas prices the hybrid Porsche doesn't make any sense either. If you are "green" you get a Tesla in that segment and can use the HOV lanes (a fact rarely mentioned here but around me one of the main reason why people buy very fuel efficient cars). On top of they the hybrid technology is not mature enough to change the ownership experience of a car such as the Cayenne. One of my colleagues got one and said it was a mistake in the end, he kept it because it was a $130k spec hybrid though... He got a GL63AMG in addition.
