That is insane. They have truly lost it.

Pretty "normal" behavior I'm afraid...

This is a business and they try to make money.

Don't get me wrong, I do not support this way of doing business but Porsche could easily change this by making less 911 Carrera and more GT models. Smiley They "throw" out Carrera models but limit GT model production. Not easy to understand. They know how well the GT models sell, so why not adapt production accordingly?!
