Sorry Alex, it's only wishful thinking, that price cut was just trying to even out the Canadian/US pricing now that the Canadian dollar and US dollar are almost at par.

Considering the exchange rate, even with the price cut, the base price for a TT is still almost $40kUS cheaper in the US. More and more Canadian are buying their cars from the US as it was A LOT cheaper. Plus Porsche oversupply the US market. Instead of pissing off the Americans by raising their price to the world level, they cut a little bit from the Canadian side. US still has the cheapest Turbo around the world.
