Does a Singer equipped with this engine need additional air inlets like this in the rear fenders?

Yes, it will be integrated through the rear windows, fabulous stuff.

Yeah, I thought so as well, but the testcar in the movie has both (the ones in the fender and the ones in the rear window). I remembered those pictures and the extremely elegant solution of integrating the inlets in the rear windows, so I was surprised to see the ugly fender cut-outs. Maybe these are remnants of earlier tests when the window versions were not available yet? Smiley

That was a replica of a 74 RSR (those vents were standard then and its just a tribute to that model)
