718 has a 10% quicker steering rack - but a lower centre of gravity? The flat four engine is also heavier than the outgoing n/a flat six and whilst providing greater acceleration due primarily to the higher torque the delivery of that performance leaves a lot to be desired, apart from the awful sound there is also turbo lag. Quality has been replaced by quantity in this regard IMO.

And I agree, the prices are fantasy land, but lack of generousity of standard equipment is a Porsche tradition, nothing new there! Smiley
