Probably the safest approach. My RD helped me have a ticket thrown out once. The cop claimed she got me with radar(even though the unit didn't go off) when I asked to see the reading she claimed she had already reset. So I wrote on the ticket next to my name, "unable to verify radar reading upon request." She didn't like that but they ended up throwing it out.
