If they make it 3.0L turbo they better get their umbrellas out cause "purist" and 3.0L Turbo do not go in the same sentence, will be seen as a sell-out, not to mention the inevitable comparison to the 991R which does have the NA engine of the GT3, which will further place this version in a worse position image wise. 

They have a fantastic engine now in the GT3.2, doesn't make sense not to use it in such a car, a purist car for sheer driving pleasure as they are describing it, its not like they are not going to sell less units than with the 3.0L Turbo engine, and probably at a higher profit margin per unit too.

I agree, but purists are hard to satisfy. If the GT3 4L starts turning up several variants (Speedster, Sport Classic, Touring Package, 911T) the complaints will center around the "dilution of the GT brand". Smiley

True, but using the even more common 3.0L Turbo shared with the entire Carrera line would please them even less then Smiley
