Nothing more to be gained from 919 (not at the cost that it will take to make it remain competitive), but the real issue is that there is nothing in the 2020 rules that make it appetizing for Porsche. They don't want cost control at the expense of hybrid development/ advances, and unfortunately the 2020 rules don't allow for further hybrid development.

It's all very, very sad and the ACO is once again to blame.
