wow..the ferrari 599 is a seriously quick car throughout the speed range. i think the tt does well relative to it's price and performance in contrast with seriously more expensive cars. as to the z06 it's a toss up. obviously the z06 is a tremendous value....i'm just not a corvette person.

The Ferrari 599 values are a TYPO. AMS took the Mercedes SLR numbers for the 599 and vice versa.

I think that the 0-300 kph performance of the 997 Turbo is pretty impressive. As far as I remember, the old 996 Turbo did 0-300 kph in 60 seconds or so, this means that the 997 Turbo is almost 20 seconds faster.

Furthermore, the 997 Turbo is only 4 seconds behind the 620 HP Enzo engine powered 599. Not bad in my opinion.
The top speed of the 997 Turbo actually shows where the fabulous 0-100, 0-200 and 0-300 kph performance is coming from...speaking of shorter gear ratio.
According to my sources, a 550 HP tuned 997 Turbo (manual) did 0-300 kph in slightly above 30 seconds. Wow.

The most impressive car in this test is actually the Bugatti Veyron. 0-300 kph in 18.2 seconds, this is one second faster than the Cayman S needs from 0-200 kph.
Or more than 22 seconds faster than the 997 Turbo...WOW again.

Whoever owns a Bugatti Veyron needs three things:
1. a healthy bank account
2. a calm temper
3. a good guardian angel
