i've seen a slightly disguised 997 (front lights and rear lights taped) during a factory tour when i visited zuffenhausen in december last year. it drove by and entered a garage.

NO ONE (exept me and my brother) from the group noticed that this was a "special" car in any way. no one! no kidding! and the guys doing a factory visit should even have at least a minium interest in and knowledge about porsches... and RC was talking about the normal people on the street. maybe some of them will even think that the 996 is the newer car because of the more modern integrated front lights

but the 997 will definitely look better than the 996.the overall proportions are somehow more athletic. it's sure worth the wait* and shouldn't have too many technical problems like new cars in general bc it's basically a 996.5
