Regaring the above discussion of 0-300kph times - AMS just tested the 488GTB:

0-200 8,9
0-300 25.6

Based on RCs input the 991.2 TTS would be quite competitive.

The 0-200 kph time is impressive, the 0-300 time not so much. It seems that Ferrari goes the safe way and reduces power/boost pressure in the upper speed range and aerodynamics could also play a role as well. In the past, Ferrari cars didn't exactly show the advertised aerodynamics figures.

Unfortunately, I would prefer the 991 Turbo S to have the performance the other way around: 0-200 kph in 8.9 seconds and 0-300 kph slower. Smiley

The Ferrari time also sets the goal for the next Turbo S generation: 0-200 kph need to be hit under 9 seconds. With the rumored hybrid tech, it should be possible.

You are certainly right that an even better 0-200 time for the turbo S would be great. However, the "average" 0-200 or even 100-200 should be the same in the 488 and the turbo S in real life conditions, if you ask me. The turbo S with AWD is just more usable in less than ideal environments. Also, I like the idea of being as fast or even slightly faster than the 488 above 200kph Smiley
