If this car actually has 540hp (and then likely over 600Nm torque) then 7.43 with a dual-clutch gearbox does not seem impossible on the Ring.

This car is also available with manual 6-spd which is rare for a performance sedan today.  With turbocharged cars, it is easy for a manufacturer to deliver a car to a magazine or race track with a little "extra".  That's one of the nice things about the Supertest - one of the few magazines where they dyno test the motor.

Yes, I had to explain the Supertest to a Alfaholic at work Smiley He has been giggling over 7.43 like a little girl all day.

Nevertheless, the time does not seem implausible to me. Cars with high torque usually performs very well on the ring due to the long sections and some even uphill where less performant cars loose a lot. That is, if Alfa has got the weight under control Smiley but it does not look like a big car.
