After test drive of 458 Speciale I got that same feeling. Sensory overload... Then I realised that most of it is coming from the raw soundtrack. Yes, thrilling on short run but, exhausting on the long run.

This is the reason why I like R8 V10 Plus sound. Milder and bassier then 458 for example. 


It all depends on how you intend to use the car. Spirited early Sunday morning ride in the mountains only, get a Speciale.

Same as above but also some regular driving, get a 458/488.

Of course it also depends on how many and which other cars there are in your stable...

That car makes a noise that will wake up the whole neighbourhood ten blocks around and the car is doing 30 mph!!! Mega moronic.
