I understand Nick's reasons for getting the car but sooner or later, he will be disappointed when using the car mainly on the street. I had to make a similar decision too and the GT3 just didn't make sense. It would have made sense as my second fun car though (if I could afford it ). On the other hand, what would be an alternative to the GT3 in the same price range? An over-optioned 991 Carrera S? Nope.
So yes, why it may not sound like a good idea to get a GT3 mainly for street driving, it actually makes sense, which is weird.
