Ferrari 458 is about 50K € in Germany more then R8 V10 plus with same equipment, MP4-12C is even more expensive. SLS AMG GT is 30K € more in Germany then R8 V10 plus.

R8 is not aimed against 458, MP4-12C, SLS AMG or so. It is position on the market one step below them.

BTW, regarding 0-200km/h straight line acceleration. Even 458 did not met Ferrari factory claims in most German mags(SA).

I am not so sure that R8 V10 plus with S tronic wont achieve 11.3s for 0-200km/h, IMHO it will even slightly beat this number in forthcoming tests. A fact that R8 V10 plus is on the Ring as fast(or even marginally) faster then previous R8 GT speaks enough for me. That means faster then 458 or SLS AMG. Rumor is that R8 V10 plus is faster on the Ring then SLS AMG GT.
