Well,

the LSDs provided by Porsche seem to have a relatively foreseeable lifetime. Guess PJ can shed more light on this but I know of some owners, especially in the US and in conjunction with significant track use, that figured that their LSD did not provide the claimed locking rate after a few years of usage.

The car itself is from a member on a different Porsche forum who does modify his cars significantly. Apart from the RS 4.0 he has also owned a 3.8 RS as well as GT2 RS. Wait, he actually is a member on this forum as well... Smiley
