Nice to see Lotus really stepping up its involvement in racing this year - from F1 to endurance to GT to GP2; they seem to be all over the place with consistent black and gold branding tying it all together.

Let's hope it's sustainable, i.e. that their very ambitious roll-out of new production cars will be profitable enough to continue supporting their racing activities.

Indeed, rumour has it, that Lotus has currently stopped its production line for a 60 days transition period (ownership transition from Proton to DRB Hicom) required by Malaysian law during which Lotus has no access to previously agreed funds from Proton.
