I remember Chris Harris from Evo had also a 550 some time ago, but I think he sold it already.

Some years ago, I had the chance to drive a 550 on the Santa-Monica-Raceway in italy. At this time I had 986S and I was really shocked how bad this car was on the track - no fun at all.

But I don´t think you are buying the 550 for track-driving.smiley

I have found this former 550-Owner posting - just for your Info Futch:

Build quality was pretty shocking, it wasn't that mine was a lemon, other 550/575 owners have said the same. Window trim falling off, leather dash unpeeling, paint bubbles everywhere. It didn't sound very good, even with a Tubi fitted.

The car felt heavy, the controls were well assisted, but it just thumped over bumps rather than riding them.

It felt quite highly geared to, so didn't lend itself to being hussled. I know it's more of a GT than say a 360/430

It's thirst for fuel was epic (12mpg on average).

It looked nice, but erm, that's about it.
