Is that a joke??? The 997S doesn't have enough torque to overpower the tires on a tiptronic launch, so safety is not a concern on launch or at any time if you're just going straight.

And furthermore, if you need an electronic nanny to "save you from yourself" should the wheels start to spin.... Then the best thing you can do for your own safety and well being is to step out of the Porsche 997, and step into a Volvo or a Lincoln Town Car or...anything with big bumpers and a bumper sticker that says "I love my grandkids"...

Sheesh...
