i think the X/M exhaust sound would actually suit the sedan. it does not suit the X's however.

i doubt bmw will go to the extreme of kers. too costly and most likely too complicated at this stage.

 

I agree, the X5 M sound suits a sedan like the M5 much better but apparently M GmbH realized that they need to add some more juice to the sound.

I'm actually pretty curious about the next M5 because if it has xDrive (even optional) and if the price/performance ratio is right, I may be interested. 2012 will be a year of at least two car decisions in our family, so... Smiley
