I think I will stick to the smaller/more agile BMW sedans like the M3 or even 1M.  If I want a 2 tonne car, I will drive the X5M.

 

The X5 M is still 300 kg heavier than the M5. Smiley


Yes I understand that, but given I don't get the chance to drive my cars at 250kmh+ cruising speed, the agility is what I prefer, which means lighter/smaller car.  The X5M will give me more space and comfort I feel, so what is the point of the M5 for me.  Take my E63 as a case in point.  We don't even use this car.  It has done less than 1000km in 5 months!  Both my wife and I prefer to take the M3 if we don't need the extra space for 5 passengers.
