I also think all those are very good cars. I should also mention the interior which is fabulously made: the finish is really Audiesque, except that it feels more modern than the A3 who has grown old imo.

The only downside so far is that my wife doesnt like Golfs and VWs at all: being American she thinks that brand is something like a Ford and would never spend money on it! I've promised her that we look at the new Cayenne so she is happy and can take a pole position in the suburbs moms grid..Smiley

Personally i would be keener on the Polo GTI rather than to the Golf GTI, which in my taste is to polished and lacks the sportiness (feelingwise) the early Golf GTi s had (with 110 and 115 HP!). The Golf R has some 'urge' and I guess the Polo will too due to its size and weight. 

What I particularly like about the R though is that in a colour like mine it looks very unintrusive and understated. Smiley Might post some pics these days.
