Guys - The problem is that Porsche bored out the engine for the RSR from 3.8 L to 4.0 L, they found that the cylinder walls were not strong enough, so they inserted steel "sleeves".

Although some say this is illegal, the ACO GT2 rules aren't exactly clear.

Ferrari has taken exception to this, and so now there is a possibility that all the RSR season results (and they are winning in both the ALMS and LMS) could be revoked.

Arakis is just excited at the prospect of Ferrari winning by an executive decision rather than on the track.

Incidentally, the so called "sleeves"do not provide any performance enhancement, but rather increase engine endurance.
