Thanks again Shakal.

Here's what I don't like about the new Z4 compared to the new Boxster:

* Too heavy, even with the smallest engine it weighs 1505 kg, and the Z4 35i is 1600 kg with DCT (Boxster S 1455 kg)

* Luggage space is only 180 liters with the top down (Boxster is unaffected by top up/down)

* Top can't be lowered/raised at speed (like the Boxster can)

* No limited slip diff (optional on Boxster)

* No sport exhaust (optional on Boxster)

BUT it does have a few things going for it compared to the Boxster:

* Price, the top-of-the-line Z4 35i costs the same as the base model Boxster (2,9)

* DCT gear shift on the steering wheel that is logical (the Porsche PDK buttons won the "Disappointment of the year" in EVO magazine)

So it's a close call, but as long as the Boxster is the only one available with LSD and sport exhaust, it would probably be my choice (with a manual gearbox)
