Let's say that #5 is announced. Does this mean that the standard 911, a car that arguably blends both GT and sports car characteristics, will move to pure sports car in the next generation? It would be fun to see! This strategy would separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak. My salesperson tells me that many buyers are skipping 911's and going for Cayennes. They realized they don't really want a sports car, just a Porsche Maybe this will give buyers another choice.
